Thanks so much Shaza. That’s lovely of you to say. I wish I was gently rolling back today but I’m more of a crashing wave. I’d best go find my ebb! Have a lovely evening.

Oh, Gill... your poem made me feel something deep... a yearning I think... such a cascade of images, and so playful. I long for this sort of creative flow. Thank you. 💜

Thanks so much as always for your encouraging words Phoebe! Always a joy to receive. I think I misread the brief because I show-horned all 10 of my things into my poem so I worried that it was a riot of images. But it sounds like I got away with it! Note to self: read the instructions! Have a good writing week! Not started yet!

Beautiful thoughts, Gill! Me too, I am writing, or do I have to say, I try to write a memoir, about what happened to my health last years, about what happened in my childhood, and I discovered how prompts open worlds I thought to be forgotten. Did you read the books of Natalie Goldberg ("Old friend from faraway"; "Writing down the bones")? Awesome...

Thanks for your feedback Ivan. It's so appreciated. It's great to hear that you have also found value in creative prompts. They have opened my eyes that's for sure. I haven't read any Natalie Goldberg but I shall take a look. It's always nice to have a recommendation. Thank you. Happy Writing.

Thanks for your feedback Anita. Poetry is very new to me and it feels even more vulnerable that writing stories! So it's nice to see what works. Hope you've had a good writing week. I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and was surprised by what came out of it.
